Delo: Industry Searching for Interlocutors

Ljubljana, 30 January - Some representatives of the Slovene export-oriented industry realized at the session of Slovene Chamber of Economy's management committee that they were the ones who were paying most for transition, and, due to considerable stocks of foreign currency, could not count on faster adjustment of the exchange rates to inflation. They got stuck in unfair competition with international financial speculators who take advantage of Slovenia's loose legislation on what can and cannot be done, Ilja Popit writes in Thursday's Delo .
