Dnevnik: New Government Supported by its Citizens

Even with an "ideologically less heterogeneous governmental coalition", Premier-designate Janez Drnovšek is to have a strong support by the voters, showed Dnevnik's regular monthly opinion poll published in Dnevnik's Friday issue. The survey revealed that 60 percent of the polled support Drnovšek's government. The new government can count on a united support by the electorate of governmental parties, according to the survey, while its severest opponents are the voters of the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) and the Social Democratic Party (SDS).
