One percent Inflation in January

Ljubljana, 31 January - INFLATION/JANUARY
Retail prices were on average by 1 percent higher in January over December 1996 and by 8.9 percent over January 1996, according to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Office. The January inflation calculated on the basis of retail prices also amounted to 1 percent.
