Family activities in forefront of sports events ahead of holidays
Ljubljana, 19 December - With Christmas and New Year's fast approaching, family activities will be in the forefront of amateur sports events this week. While many believers will be bringing back the tradition of walking to Midnight Mass with torches Monday evening, ski maker Elan will organise a family day on the ski slopes of Kranjska Gora.

Sports equipment retailer Instersport will organised a host of events in Kranjska Gora on Saturday. The Family Day will feature free skiing lessons for young and old and test runs on skis by ski maker Elan.
Small children will be able to try out a special training piste and take part in various workshops, while police officers on skis will provide safety advice.

Urban Runners head from Izola to Koper
Urban Runners running group will hold one of its regular monthly sessions on Sunday. They will run along the coast from the picturesque town of Izola to the port town of Koper.
