New human rights ombudsman has strong mandate, Nussdorfer says

Ljubljana, 1 February - Vlasta Nussdorfer, whose five-year term as human rights ombudsman ends this month, thinks her successor, Peter Svetina, has a strong mandate because of the high support he received as he was elected in parliament earlier this week. She hopes he will use it to push for the implementation of the ombudsman's recommendations.
