Fitch upgrades credit rating for Slovenia from A- to A

The rating agency Fitch upgraded on Friday the credit rating for Slovenia from A- to A with a stable outlook. Fitch highlighted the lowering of the public debt, the public finances surplus and the country's economic growth among the reasons, the Finance Ministry said on Saturday.

Stock market closes the week upbeat

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange's SBI TOP index closed 0.45% higher on Friday, largely owing to the issue of drug company Krka, which added 1.32% on EUR 477,500 in volumes, more than half of the overall trading volumes, at EUR 787,080.
