Unions respond to GZS wage growth initiative with collective agreement proposal

Ljubljana, 14 March - Trade unions welcomed on Thursday an initiative by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) for a new social agreement, but they were critical of what they see as lax wage growth commitments. They are proposing that employers instead back a new collective agreement for the private sector as a whole, an instrument they dismantled in 2005.
