Kučan draws parallels between climate action and resistance in WWII
Šentjernej, 16 March - About 2,000 people attended a memorial at Javorovica hill to commemorate the killing of more than 100 Partisans in 1944. Slovenia's first President Milan Kučan said in his keynote that this generation had the duty to support the youth's effort to save the environment "just like it was our parents's duty" to fight Nazism and Fascism.
