Slovenia imposes strictest trans fat ban

Ljubljana, 7 April - Food sold in Slovenia should no longer contain more than two grammes of trans fat per 100 grammes of total fats in a product. Slovenian food producers and retailers say they are ready as a one-year transition period for the full implementation of new rules ends on 7 April.
