Ljubljana, 31 August - Slovenian daily newspapers today carry titles like "Kučan's statements 'misleading'" (Republika), "Presidency Was Not Informed Out of Prudence" (Dnevnik), "President Kučan Knew Weapons Would Be Confiscated From Territorial Defence" (Delo), "Political Conflict Between Janša and Kučan Continues" (Večer), and issue the explanation given by the Ministry of Defence in connection with the public statements by President Milan Kučan on arms trade. The 39th wine fair of Ljubljana is also among widely reported issues.
