Liberation Front remembered on Resistance Day
Ljubljana/Kranj, 26 April - On the eve of Resistance Day, a ceremony will be held in Kranj on Friday to remember the Liberation Front, an undercover organisation which spearheaded resistance against Nazi and Fascist occupation in World War II.

A memorial in front of the house in which the Liberation Front was established in April 1941, originally believed it was formed on 27 April but it was later established the date was 26 April. The inscription says: On 27 April 1941 the Liberation Front of the Slovenian Nation was established in this house.
