SDS wins EU election together with SLS but loses one MEP seat

Ljubljana, 27 May - The head of the opposition Democrats (SDS) Janez Janša hailed the EU election victory for the joint list of SDS and the non-parliamentary People's Party (SLS) as a cooperation model that could be repeated in the future. The SDS had two of its three MEPs re-elected, while the SLS preserved its sole MEP in Franc Bogovič.
