Cold and wet spring bad omen for harvest this year
Ljubljana, 3 June - After a wet and cold spring, Slovenian farmers worry about this year's harvest, as poor weather has already showed its devastating effect on a number of crops. According to the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS), low temperatures and high humidity have stalled the growth of plants, leaving them weakened and prone to disease and pests.
