First Slovenian alpine hut celebrates 125th anniversary

Bohinj, 14 July - Slovenian mountaineers will mark on Sunday the 125th anniversary of the Orožnova Koča, the first hut built by the Slovenian Alpine Association. Located on a pasture in the mountains above lake Bohinj, the hut contributed to the rise in national awareness and is considered a milestone in the development of Slovenian mountaineering.
