National Council vetoes cut of state funding for private primary schools

Ljubljana, 15 July - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, vetoed on Monday in a 17:13 vote legislative changes that cut funding for private primary schools. To override the veto in a vote that will presumably take place on Thursday, four more votes will needed in the National Assembly than the proponents of the controversial changes managed last week.
