Brussels, 19 March - Head of the North Atlantic Assembly, U.S. senator William Roth argues in the March issue of NATO Review that "accepting new European democracies, such as Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia, epitomizes more than anything else the spirit and intention of NATO as an alliance of nations which think similarly, open to those which accept and support its fundamental values and principles".
