SDS wants army to get extra powers to help police border

Ljubljana, 19 September - The parliamentary debate on the Schengen border policing saw sides entrenched in their positions on the Home Policy Committee on Thursday with the officials insisting that the police were in control of illegal migration, while the opposition Democrats (SDS) disagreed, proposing giving extra powers to the army.
