Bank Nova Ljubljanska Banka Forms Bank Group
Ljubljana, 24 March - BANK/LJUBLJANA/GROUP
Three Slovene banks, LB Koroška banka of Slovenj Gradec, LB Pomurska banka of Murska Sobota and LB Splošna banka of Velenje, signed an accord with bank Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) of Ljubljana on business cooperation and joint control of business risks in the framework of the newly formed NLB Bank Group. Through transformation of preferred shares into 40 percent of regular shares, the NLB became the main shareholder in the three above mentioned banks, the NLB reported on Monday.
