Government: $2b from Tourism within Five Years
Ljubljana, 27 March - Increasing tourist exchange revenues from the current US$ 1,1 billion to US$ billion within five years and better competitiveness of Slovene tourism through higher quality of services and stronger internal competition are the main goals of tourism in Slovenia, listed in the Information on the Situation in the Slovene Tourism the Government confirmed on Thursday. The main project toward faster development and promotion of tourism will be the adoption of the tourism promotion bill, State Secretary for Tourism Peter Vesenjak told a news conference after the government session.
