Unexpected tax boon for small community

Ljubljana, 16 November - Preddvor, a rural municipality in the proverbially frugal Gorenjska region with roughly 3,500 inhabitants, received quite a shock recently. All of a sudden its account showed a EUR 4.7 million tax receipt, higher than its entire annual budget. The officials needed some time to wrap their head around the unexpected windfall.
