EU Report on Associate Members: Slovene Economy Loses much of its Dynamics

Brussels, 2 April - The European Commission released a regular semestral report on economic situation and economic reform in Central and Eastern European countries Wednesday. The report established "Slovenia's economy has lost much of its dynamics in the past two years". Moreover, the Commission found out that "some political uncertainty could be noticed" in Slovenia "recently as a new government was not formed even three months after November 1996 elections".
