Delo: Russia (again) from Brest to Vladivostok

Ljubljana, 3 April - Provoked by Brussels's plans, Moscow recently went on a frenzied search for new allies. True, it is on a very similar wavelength with India and China, but any serious military alliance with New Delhi or Beijing is at least for now out of the question. White Russia, led by the great Soviet nostalgist Alexander Lukashenko, was therefore ideal for the first really practical counterblow to NATO, writes Delo on Thursday.
