Fajon elected head of EU Parliament's Schengen task force

Strasbourg, 26 November - The European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) has elected Slovenian MEP Tanja Fajon (S&D/SD) the chair of a special task force for the Schengen Area, with Fajon announcing she would strive to restore importance and reputation to the idea, and restore full life to the area without borders.
