SMC appoints new sec-gen, programming chief

Ljubljana, 28 November - Amid speculation that the junior coalition Modern Centre Party (SMC) may change course, the party appointed a new secretary general and programming council chair on Thursday. Leader Zdravko Počivalšek, who took over from party founder Miro Cerar only two months ago, said the party was going neither right nor left, only forward.
