Remedial measures ordered after audit in meat additive scandal

Ljubljana, 29 November - An internal audit in the government body in charge of food safety has shown that it had been late in informing the public about the discovery of a banned additive in minced meat in Slovenian shops, and that its communication was incorrect and misleading. The relevant minister has ordered remedial measures to be implemented.
