FM supports EU sanctioning human rights violations

Brussels, 9 December - On the eve of Human Rights Day, the EU's Foreign Affairs Council agreed on launching preparations for a new EU sanctions regime to sanction human rights abusers. Slovenian Foreign Minister Miro Cerar backed the move, which is based on the US 2012 Magnitsky Act.
