Trilateral In the Spirit of European and Euro-Atlantic Integrations

Regional integrations such as trilateral alliances are in the spirit of European and Euro-Atlantic integrations. Such was the conclusion made in Ljubljana at the of last week by the defence ministers of Slovenia, Italy and Hungary, Tit Turnšek, Beniamino Andreatta and Gyorgy Keleti, who at their first meeting set the foundations of defence relations on the axis Rome - Ljubljana - Budapest. The ministers maintained that such cooperation resulted from the akin geopolitical position of the three countries and was dictated by the need to strengthen common security since the countries involved lie on the verge of tumultuous and unstable Balkan region.
