Ex-advocate general says admissibility opinion not changing anything

Ljubljana, 11 December - Verica Trstenjak, a former advocate general at the European Court of Justice, finds that Advocate General Priit Pikamäe's opinion that Slovenia's suit against Croatia does not fall in the scope of EU law will not change anything. The arbitration award will still be valid, but in the long run a diplomatic solution will obviously have to be sought.
