Thaler: Slovenia's Membership in NATO Would Strengthen the Alliance's Southern Flank
Budapest, 8 April - SLOVENIA/HUNGARY/THALER
Slovenia considers itself as a new NATO member, which can contribute to the consolidation of security and stability in this part of Europe. At the same time Slovene and Hungarian membership in NATO would strengthen the NATO's southern flank as well as the notion that the enlargement of NATO is not an exclusive east-west process, but process aimed at enhancing security and stability in all directions, Slovene Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler said. At the beginning of his visit to Hungary he the members of Hungarian Atlantic Council and the Society of International Relations in Budapest.
