Slovenia observes Independence and Unity Day
Ljubljana, 26 December - Slovenia observes Independence and Unity Day on Thursday in memory of the 1990 independence referendum, in which Slovenians voted overwhelmingly for Slovenia to leave Yugoslavia. President Borut Pahor will address visitors at the Presidential Palace.
