In the times of a severe threat to peace, Slovenia was pervaded by pacifism which was not advocated only by some alternative groups but especially by leading politicians; nowadays, however, the only option on the horizon seems to be a military-oriented security policy, the Wednesday issue of Dnevnik writes.
