Border Cooperation Between Slovenia and Italy

Ljubljana, 15 April - SLOVENIA/ITALY/BORDER/COOPERATION/PHARE
The project of regional development in the area near the Slovene-Italian border is this year implemented within PHARE/CBC border cooperation programme. Slovene Ministry of Economic Relations and Development expects that within the project cooperation between all key elements - local communities, economic associations and states - in the border region will be established. The ministry also expects that the concept of partnership, one of the key elements of the new approach in regional policy, will be established, representatives of the ministry told a press conference Tuesday.
