Doctors do not want to be dependent on industry donations

Ljubljana, 12 February - Doctors in Slovenia are obligated by law to attend medical seminars and training courses to get acquainted with the latest know-how and technologies but the state does not cover the costs of such training. This means they are dependent on industry donations, which doctors say is legalised corruption.
