Emergency Parliament Session on EU and NATO Membership to be Held End-April; Ratification of European Accord Probably at May Session
Ljubljana, 18 April - Speaker of Parliament Janez Podobnik announced Friday he would call an emergency session on Slovenia's preparation for EU and NATO membership, which was demanded by two opposition parties. According to Podobnik, who chaired Friday a session of the consultative body of Parliament Speaker, the emergency session will most probably be held on 29 April.
