Hip implant supplier ordered to pay damages for faulty implant
Ljubljana, 4 March - A hip replacement implant supplier has been ordered to pay nearly EUR 17,500 in damages to a patient who proved that he had received a faulty implant. More than 3,000 implants manufactured by Wright Medical Technology might have been implanted in Slovenia before the maker recalled a modular neck used in the implants in 2015.
