Slovenia's Foreign Thaler Gives Interview for Agency Beta

Belgrade, 20 April - PRESS/YUGOSLAVIA/SLOVENIA/FOREIGN/MINISTER/INTERVIEW
There are less and less reasons left for delaying the normalization of relations between Slovenia and the Federative Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY), Slovenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Zoran Thaler told in an interview for a private Serb news agency Beta. He did not, however, exclude the possibility that the procedure could be blocked by the insistence of Belgrade on an "unhistorical and legally untenable position" that the former Yugoslavia had not disintegrated and that the newly established Serb-Montenegro federation was the only true successor of the "not-disintegrated Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia".
