Drnovšek in Brussels: Slovenia Ready to Become NATO Member
Brussels, 22 April - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek delivered an oral presentation Tuesday in the Cercle Royal Gaulois, a distinguished arts and culture society, within the framework of a working visit to the West European Union (WEU) and to NATO headquarters in Brussels. In his address, Drnovšek pointed out Slovenia's readiness to become a NATO member assuming all responsibilities and added that Slovenia was "fully qualified for membership" in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
