World Book Day in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 23 April - CULTURE/BOOK/SLOVENE/DAYS
The Association of Slovene Writers organized a three-day book fair on the Ljubljana square Kongresni Trg on the occasion of the World Book Day, 23 April. More than 20 publishers are selling their books at very low, almost symbolical prices, at the fair. The motto of the 1997 Slovene Days of Book is "Book as a Perfect Token", the initiative following the example of Catalonian custom of giving a friend a flower and a book.
