Ceremony Marking World Day of Book

On the occasion of the World Book Day, marked by a ceremony on the Kongresni Trg square in Ljubljana, Evald Flisar, President of the Association of Slovene Writers (DSP) referred to the 125- year period since the Association was founded. He advocated a responsible attitude towards books, particularly to Slovene ones. Readers have a right to make use of all possibilities offered by a book, he said, adding he respected also the right not to read.
