Efforts to amend carnivore culling bill, experts disagree

Ljubljana, 2 April - The management of large carnivores in Slovenia is entering another chapter of this saga that has seen a clash of opinions between authorities, farmers and NGOs. The Environment Ministry supports changes to an emergency bill ordering the culling of overgrown bear and wolf populations, while some experts oppose the amendments.
