Home-made masks as effective as surgical masks, IJS says
Ljubljana, 21 April - Home-sewn protective masks made out of dense fabric are as effective in filtering air as surgical masks, Slovenia's top research institute, the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS), said after testing masks to provide an insight into their effectiveness; much of the general public has been using home-made masks in the Covid-19 epidemic.
