Drop in orders pushes Hisense into massive layoffs, unions up in arms

Ljubljana/Velenje, 23 April - Hisense Europe plans extensive layoffs across the group as a major drop in orders amid the Covid-19 pandemic has pushed it into the red. Trade unions and the local community are shocked that as many as 2,200 jobs will be slashed by the end of 2020, of which 1,000 in Slovenia.
