Meeting of Five Countries' Economics Ministers

Vienna, 2 May - MINISTERS/ECONOMY/MEETING
A two-day meeting of ministers of economy from Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Austria, initiated by Austria's Economics Minister Hannes Farnleitner, started in Rust am See, Austria, on Friday. The main issues on the agenda include preparations of associate members for full membership in the European Union, possibilities for strengthening economic ties and open questions related to the World Trade Organization. Slovenia's minister of economic relations and development, Marjan Senjur, will also hold several bilateral talks in the framework of the meeting, the ministry reported.
