Car sales in Slovenia down 71% in April

Ljubljana, 6 May - Car dealerships have been hit hard by the coronavirus lockdown. Sales of new cars and vans plunged by 71% year-on-year in April and 39% in the first four months compared to the same period last year, show the latest Chamber of Commerce (TZS) figures.

Potential measures targeting European car companies seen as the biggest external risk to Slovenia's economic growth.
