Prime Minister Drnovšek Opens CEFTA Conference

New York, 5 May - USA/CEFTA/SLOVENIA
Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek Monday in New York opened a two-day conference of the Central European Free Trade Agreement which has the main objective to attract U.S. companies to invest in CEFTA countries (Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, with Romania becoming an official member shortly). This year presiding CEFTA, Prime Minister Drnovšek in details presented the Agreement and outlined trade and investment opportunities offered by CEFTA countries to potential U.S. partners.
