Survey: Over 25% of Slovenians with four or more traumatic events as kids
Ljubljana, 10 June - As many as 27% of Slovenians had four or more adverse childhood experiences, while the majority, or 76%, experienced at least one such event, shows the first national survey which tried to pinpoint the extent of distressing experiences in childhood and their impact on health and quality living in adulthood.

A survey shows 27% of Slovenians experienced four or more potentially traumatic events before the age of 18, and are thus more likely to fall ill with a number of diseases or develop a number of disorders in adulthood.
