Opposition says failure to appoint Teršek shows coalition is strong
Ljubljana, 16 June - After Andraž Teršek failed to muster enough support in parliament to be appointed a Constitutional Court judge, opposition parties said the secret ballot had shown how strong the coalition was, given that the ruling Democrats (SDS) had opposed the nominee. However, MPs of the Modern Centre Party (SMC) nevertheless backed him.
