Statehood Day to be marked with series of events

Ljubljana, 24 June - A series of events will be held on Wednesday on the eve of Statehood Day, which is observed in remembrance of independence from Yugoslavia being declared in June 1991. The events will culminate with a state ceremony in Congress Square in Ljubljana, which will be addressed by President Borut Pahor as the keynote speaker.
