Govt proposes improving status of soldiers aged 45 and above
Ljubljana, 24 June - The government has agreed on a bill amending the defence act and will send it to parliament, said the Government Communication Office on Wednesday. The proposal sets to tackle the career issues of soldiers once they turn 45, either by envisaging contract extension options or re-employment alternatives at other state bodies.
