2021 declared the year of composer Ipavec, writer Jurčič

Ljubljana, 2 July - Next year, Slovenia will mark the centenary of composer and physician Josip Ipavec's death and the 140th anniversary of the death of writer and journalist Josip Jurčič, the author of the first Slovenian novel. The government hence declared on Thursday 2021 to be the year of Ipavec as well as Jurčič.
